Thiruvananthapuram: A 43 year old woman, divorced three days ago, was found dead by suicide. She was found hanging inside her house at Vattiyurkavu on Tuesday. Police have arrested her husband in connection with the incident as they recovered the suicide note from the house in which the woman had accused her former husband for forcing her to take the extreme step. 

The woman was staying with her daughter in the house. According to the police, there was cases registered against the 45 year old former husband in connection with sexual abuse and POCSO charges.  

There are serious allegations against the former husband in the suicide note by the woman. She alleged that the man had shot her naked visuals and shared it with outsiders. She said that the man should not be allowed to take care of the daughter. 

The suicide not begins with the allegation that the reason behind her decision to commit suicide is her former husband from whom she had got divorce three days ago. She said that the man had reached the house a couple of days ago and tortured her mentally and physically.  “Don’t hand over my daughter to him as she is afraid of him. He had shot my naked visuals and shared it with his friend. The photos were taken after tying up my hands and legs. He tortured me physically demanding my property, two storied house and the money in my bank account. All these things should not be given to him. Don’t give my daughter to him or his relatives. This is my request. My daughter’s marriage is fixed. Please, let her live with him. It is out of my helplessness that I am taking this extreme step. He is an accused in a POCSO case. He is the reason behind my death”, the note said.
