Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress high command has finalised 41 members for the All India Congress Committee from Kerala with voting rights. Besides, six parliament members in the list of 63 leaders provided by KPCC for the consideration of the high command were also included in the AICC as representatives of the parliamentary party. They are Rajmohan Unnithan, VK Sreekandan, Hibi Eden, Dean Kuriakose, Ramya Haridas and Jebi Mether. They will also have voting rights.

Another 16 leaders from Kerala also found a place in AICC, but they will not have vote. In total, 63 leaders from Kerala will attend the plenary session to be held in Raipur later this month.

The number of members with a vote was fixed at the regular quota for Kerala in the AICC considering the possibility of a contest to the Congress Working Committee, set to be elected in the plenary session.

The list, as usual, is not complaint-free. Thampanoor Ravi lost his voting rights. 'A Group' leaders have complained that they were sidelined.
The AICC members include veteran leaders like AK Antony, Oommen Chandy, Vayalar Ravi and PJ Kurien. Four women members are Padmaja Venugopal, Deepthi Mary Varghese, Bindu Krishna and Fathima Rosna.
