2 top Kerala police officials cheated Rs 2 cr in quotation dealings, says Ravi Pujari

Bengaluru: Fraudster and underworld don Ravi Pujari revealed to the police his quotation links with top people. Ravi Pujari told the police probe team that two top police officials were involved as intermediaries in quotation dealings and had grabbed from him Rs 2 crore. It is learnt that among the two, one person is a top IPS rank official.

The incident happened 10 years back when Ravi Pujari demanded money from a business group involved in illegal money business. The quotation was for Rs 2 crore and the police officials stood as intermediaries and cheated him of Rs 2 crore. Ravi Pujari told the Bengaluru police and the Crime branch that he was given only Rs 50 lakh and rest of the money was taken by police officials.

According to reports, it is learnt that the dreaded gangster has revealed the names of the police officials who were involved in the dealings to all agencies who interrogated him. It looks like a high-level enquiry would be held on the incident.
