Kondotty: So far, 2,145 pilgrims from Kerala have flown to holy Mecca under the supervision of the Kerala State Hajj Committee. 13 flights carrying a total of 1099 men and 1046 female pilgrims, have left from various airports in Kerala, so far this season. Nine flights from Karipur, three from Kannur, and one flight from Kochi, embarked on the holy journey until June 7.
More pilgrims are expected to embark on their spiritual journey in the upcoming days.

Two flights carrying 145 passengers each, left for Mecca, in the morning and evening on Wednesday, from Karipur Airport. The farewell meeting of those pilgrim groups was presided by Muhammed Thurab Saqafi.
Similarly, flight SV 3783 (Saudi Arabian Airlines), carrying 209 male and 196 female Haj pilgrims, was flagged off by Minister V Abdurahiman at Nedumbassery airport on Wednesday morning.
