Kottayam: A bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims met with an accident in Attivalavu, Erumely. The bus with Ayyappa pilgrims from Karnataka was involved in an accident around 6 AM on Wednesday.

As per reports, there were 42 people onboard the bus and 12 people sustained injuries. The injured were taken to Kottayam Medical college hospital, Kanjirappally general hospital and a private hospital in Mukkoottuthara. The traffic on the Sabarimala route was disrupted following the accident.
