He stated there's no need for a change, asserting his father will continue as CM for the full term.

Mysuru: Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Congress MLC and son of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, firmly stated that there is no need for a change in the state’s leadership. "In my opinion, there's no need to change the CM. Siddaramaiah will remain the full-time CM," he said, dismissing ongoing speculation about a leadership change. He added that he was unaware of any discussions on power sharing and emphasised that the party high command's decision is final.
Addressing recent rumours and political manoeuvring, Yathindra noted, "No one told me about power sharing. This isn't the first time MLAs have gone to Delhi to lobby. This has happened before in different parties." Affirming the family’s and party’s loyalty, he said, "We stand by the high command's words. There's no need for change. There shouldn't have been any unnecessary changes."
Yathindra also expressed confidence in Siddaramaiah's position as the Chief Minister for the full term, stating, "I personally say that Siddaramaiah will remain the CM for five years. The high command will review everything and decide what's best."
The political scenario in Karnataka has seen recurring chatter around leadership dynamics within the Congress party, especially with the BJP gaining momentum in the state. Despite the speculation, Siddaramaiah's camp maintains a united front, emphasising stability and continuity in governance as key priorities.
