New Delhi: A major row over the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination process has escalated after Eduquity Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company involved in conducting SSC exams, filed a ₹2.5 crore defamation suit against YouTuber Nitish Rajput in a Delhi court, Moneycontrol reported.
The controversy arose after Rajput uploaded a video analysing documents accessed through the Right to Information (RTI) Act, in which he questioned the SSC’s tendering procedures and the criteria adopted for selecting examination vendors. He also flagged certain rule modifications and operational practices, arguing that they could potentially affect the fairness and transparency of the examination process.

The firm has sought financial compensation of ₹2.5 crore and requested the court to direct the removal of the video. Rajput, however, has refused to take down the content, maintaining that his analysis is based on verified public records and reflects concerns widely shared by candidates.
Who is Nitish Rajput?
Nitish Rajput, originally from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh, is a digital content creator with a background in IT engineering. According to media reports, he holds a B.Tech degree from Gautam Buddha University and is currently based in Delhi.
