To enhance safety and security for female passengers, Uber has launched ‘Moto Women’, a women-only bike taxi service in Bengaluru. Designed to provide a safe and seamless travel experience, this new service not only prioritises passenger security but also offers earning opportunities for female drivers.
Available across key areas of the city, the service operates from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm with competitive and reasonable fares.
One of the standout features of ‘Moto Women’ is the added layer of security for passengers. Riders can share their drop-off location details with up to five trusted contacts, ensuring that their loved ones can track their journey in real-time. Additionally, the service includes Uber’s RideCheck feature, which helps monitor the trip for any irregularities, such as long stops, unexpected route changes, or detours.
To further reinforce safety, both passengers and drivers have access to Uber’s 24/7 safety helpline. In the event of an emergency, the dedicated safety team can quickly reach the exact location to provide assistance.
