Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court’s official website was hacked earlier this month, prompting cybercrime authorities to register a case and begin an investigation, officials said on Saturday.
According to police, the breach happened on the night of November 8 but was detected only during working hours on November 10.
Following this, High Court officials approached senior police authorities and later filed a formal complaint with the Police Commissioner’s office. An FIR was registered on November 14.
The court administration immediately alerted the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and other concerned agencies, following which the website was taken offline to prevent further compromise, officials said.
