New Delhi: Tahawwur Rana, a key accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, has made explosive revelations during his interrogation by India's National Investigation Agency (NIA), admitting that he was a "trusted agent of the Pakistan Army."

Sources indicate that Rana, who was recently extradited from the United States to India, has provided crucial details about his deep connections with the Pakistani military and intelligence services, including the ISI, and his involvement in the larger conspiracy of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

These admissions directly contradict Pakistan's long-standing claims of having no connection to Rana or involvement in the terror attacks. Rana's statements are expected to significantly bolster India's case against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism on the international stage.

Rana, a Pakistani-origin Canadian national, is currently in NIA custody in New Delhi. He had previously been convicted in the US for providing material support to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and aiding in the Denmark terror plot, but was acquitted of direct involvement in the Mumbai attacks by a US court.
