A Chennai-based doctor has shared a touching video capturing a father nervously holding his newborn baby for the very first time — a moment that has captivated more than 198 million viewers online.

Titled “Father moment,” the short clip was posted by Dr Suganya Saravanakumar on Instagram, where she has 474K followers.

The video shows the doctor gently handing the newborn to the father, whose hands tremble with nervousness as he prepares to hold the baby. After a few reassuring words from the doctor, he finally cradles the child in his arms, visibly emotional and overwhelmed.

At one point, the doctor asks him to relax as the joyful yet anxious father struggles to steady himself.
