Sachin Tendulkar’s photo with Rahul Gandhi goes viral; Congress in Kerala alleges political pressure on the cricket legend to delete it.

New Delhi: The Congress Kerala unit has alleged that cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was pressured to delete and repost a photograph shared recently with Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi.
Yesterday, for the wedding of his son Arjun Tendulkar and Saniya Chandhok, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah and Rahul Gandhi were all invited to the Tendulkar family event. Sachin shared pictures of these meetings on his X account. However, his photo with Rahul Gandhi went viral compared to those with other senior political leaders. It also received more likes and comments than the others.
According to the Congress Kerala unit, due to pressure from senior leaders, Sachin deleted the photo with Rahul Gandhi from his account and reposted it later at night.
As per Congress Kerala’s X account, Sachin posted his photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7.13 pm, followed by a photo with Home Minister Amit Shah at 8.18 pm, and another with President Droupadi Murmu at 8.48 pm. However, the picture with Rahul Gandhi, shared at 9.22 pm, immediately went viral, amassing over six lakh views within two hours. Due to its sudden popularity compared to the other pictures, Sachin allegedly had to delete it under pressure from senior figures. The Congress Kerala unit claims that Sachin reposted the photo at 12.19 am.
