Abu Dhabi: Air India made it mandatory that an RTPCR negative certificate is inevitable to travel from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Kerala.
Regional Manager of Air India and Air India Express PP Singh clarified that even the vaccinated people have to carry a negative test certificate to land in certain states in India.
However, those who have taken the vaccine need not require an RTPCR certificate for domestic travel in India.
Travellers have been submitting an RTPCR negative certificate in the Air Suvidha portal since February 23. A printed copy of the same also has to be carried on the journey.
Air Suvidha has the facility to apply for exemption from submitting the RTPCR result for those who travel home immediately following the death of relatives.
