The car used in the November 10 explosion, which killed 13, was registered in his name.

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday remanded Red Fort blast accused Amir Rashid Ali to 10 days’ custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Ali was produced before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, though mediapersons were not permitted to enter the courtroom during the proceedings.
The NIA had arrested Ali, a resident of Samboora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, on Sunday. The Hyundai i20 car used in the November 10 explosion near the Red Fort, which killed 13 people and injured several others, was registered in his name, officials said.
Investigators have alleged that Ali conspired with Dr Umar Nabi, who was driving the car at the time of the blast and is believed to have been killed in the explosion. Nabi, a doctor from Pulwama, was linked to a “white-collar” terror module that was busted following the recovery of explosive materials in Faridabad, Haryana.
