Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday during which the latter expressed his condolences and solidarity with the people of India following the recent cross-border terror attack in Pahalgam.
During the telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Modi, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani reiterated Qatar's full support for India's fight against terrorism and pledged cooperation in all efforts to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
Prime Minister Modi thanked the Qatari Emir for his clear message of solidarity and support during this difficult time. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Qatar, and reiterated their resolve to implement the decisions made during the Emir's state visit to India earlier this year.
