
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj on Wednesday, 5 February 2025. The Prime Minister will take part in the holy dip at the sacred Sangam, but is not expected to address any public gatherings during the visit. The holy dip is scheduled between 11:00 am and 11:30 am.
Modi is expected to arrive in Prayagraj at 10:00 am and land at the DPS helipad. From there, he will proceed to the VIP Jetty aboard the Nishadraj Cruise. The visit is planned to be brief, with the PM scheduled to stay for about an hour. During this time, he will take part in the holy dip before returning.

Meanwhile, a vast crowd of devotees gathered at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to partake in a sacred dip on Basant Panchami, marking the peaceful conclusion of the third and final 'Amrit Snan' of the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
Authorities have implemented strict security measures to ensure the safety and smooth experience of all pilgrims attending the event.
According to officials, by noon on Monday, more than 12.5 million devotees had taken part in the holy bath during this significant Shahi Snan of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
