Palghar:  A Sulfur Trioxide (SO₃) gas leak at Bhagaria Chemical Company in Tarapur MIDC, Palghar, caused panic among residents within a 3-4 km radius, with reports of eye irritation, coughing, and breathing difficulties.

Superintendent of Police Yatish Deshmukh said authorities are responding to the incident. “The fire brigade, district administration, and police are trying to contain the source of the leak. Do not panic,” he advised.

Local teams continue to monitor the situation and assist affected residents as containment efforts are underway.
