A Gurugram man identified as Sambhav Jain died after jumping from the 43rd floor of Noida’s Supernova building. Police are investigating the case.

Noida: A man from Gurugram died by suicide after jumping from the 43rd floor of the Supernova building in Sector 94, Noida, on Saturday. The man, identified as Sambhav Jain, had reportedly come to the high-rise alone for a one-day stay and was staying in an Airbnb.
According to police, Jain arrived at the building around 3 pm on Friday after booking the accommodation online. He was staying in the Spyra building, part of the Supernova complex.
Police said Jain jumped from the balcony area of the apartment, falling from the 43rd floor. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the spot. The impact was so severe that his body was dismembered.
A video circulating on social media reportedly shows the moments before the fall. In the footage, people appear to be trying to stop Jain as he remains near the balcony railing. Despite their attempts, he eventually fell from the building.
Police begin investigation
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. A forensic science laboratory (FSL) team also inspected the scene and collected evidence.
The police are examining CCTV footage from the building and nearby areas to establish the sequence of events leading up to the incident. Statements from people who were present at the spot are also being considered as part of the investigation.
DCP Manisha Singh said police received information on October 3 about Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar, Gurugram, who had died after falling from a balcony of a building in Sector 94.
"Police reached the spot, collected forensic evidence and informed his family. Further investigation is underway, with police seeking information to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident," Singh said.
People questioned by police reportedly told investigators that Jain had been under mental stress. However, police have not established the exact circumstances or reason behind the suicide.
The body was taken into police custody and sent for post-mortem examination. His family has been informed, while further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
