Mandya: Four passengers sustained minor injuries on Monday following a collision between a private bus and a passenger car on the Mysore-Bengaluru Highway.

The incident occurred as the bus was travelling from Kerala toward Bengaluru via Mandya. According to local authorities, the bus veered off course following the impact, striking a roadside safety barrier before plunging into a nearby drain.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash. The four injured occupants of the car were transported to Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) Hospital, where they are reportedly receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mandya Rural Police have officially registered a case regarding the accident and are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision. While traffic on the busy highway was momentarily disrupted, officials confirmed that the roadway has since been cleared.
