Noida: A massive fire breaks out at a chemical plant named Shri Banke Bihari Aromatics in Noida, spreading across the entire chemical factory on Sunday. According to reports, the fire triggered huge explosions in the factory with the flames seen from several kilometers away.

As soon as the fire was reported, the fire department sent 12 fire brigade vehicles to the spot and the process of controlling the fire was started. Firefighters are using JCB machines for rescue operations.

The incident has left the surrounding area engulfed in dark smoke, reportedly causing breathing difficulties for residents in nearby neighbourhoods. The factory is in a densely industrial area, raising concerns of further risks

No casualties have been reported so far at the factory as employees managed to escape. Initial reports suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire, but further investigation is underway.

The nature and quantity of the chemical present in the factory is being assessed. The local administration has evacuated the surrounding area to avoid any untoward incident.
