The mortal remains of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were brought to the Congress headquarters in a vehicle adorned with flowers on Saturday, following his passing.

Singh’s body will be placed at the Congress headquarters for party members and supporters to pay their final respects.

His last rites will be performed at Nigambodh Ghat, with the procession beginning from the Congress headquarters.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Traffic Police has released an advisory detailing road closures and diversions across key routes in the city ahead of the state funeral of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, set to take place at Nigambodh Ghat at 11:45 am on Saturday.

In anticipation of a large number of foreign dignitaries, VIPs, VVIPs, and the public attending the cremation, traffic will be redirected from areas including Raja Ram Kohli Marg, Rajghat Red Light, Signature Bridge, and Yudhister Setu, according to the advisory.

Manmohan Singh, who led the Congress-led UPA government and is widely regarded as the architect of India's economic reforms, passed away on Thursday at the age of 92.

He served as India's Prime Minister for a decade, from 2004 to 2014.

The Union Home Ministry has declared a seven-day national mourning in his honor, during which the national flag will fly at half-mast across the country.
