Security forces and central paramilitary personnel were deployed, bringing the volatile situation under control by Monday morning.

Imphal: At least one individual was killed, and multiple others suffered injuries after inter-community violence erupted in Manipur's Thoubal district, police confirmed on Monday.
District officials clamped prohibitory orders prohibiting residents from exiting their homes across two impacted localities, where several dwellings and automobiles were set alight.
Unrest initiated when a group allegedly began pelting stones at an open ground in Khangabok village—located under the Thoubal police station jurisdiction, approximately 25 kilometres south of the state capital, Imphal, where a musical concert was taking place on Sunday evening, according to law enforcement authorities.
The provocation triggered reciprocal stone-pelting between community members from Khangabok and Sangaiyumpham, culminating in arson targeting homes and vehicles.
One victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head when unidentified assailants opened fire. He was transported to a local medical centre where he died from his injuries. Police identified the deceased as Laishram Rakesh.
Numerous other individuals were admitted to medical facilities with minor lacerations and impact injuries after being struck by flying debris.
Reinforcements comprising state police and central paramilitary personnel were deployed to the two affected villages, bringing the situation under control by Monday morning, authorities stated.
The prohibitory order issued by the Thoubal district magistrate late Sunday noted, "There is likelihood of breach of peace, disturbance of public tranquillity, and imminent danger to human life and properties...because of the unlawful activities of some antisocial elements."
The district magistrate instructed residents across the Khangabok and Sangaiyumpham areas to remain indoors from 11:00 p.m. on Sunday pursuant to Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
The statutory provision, which enables administrative authorities to issue emergency orders to avert immediate threats or public disturbances, did not specify a timeframe for lifting the restrictions.
