The arrests, made on Saturday across Imphal East, Imphal West, and Bishnupur districts, targeted members of outlawed groups like UNLF and PREPAK.

Imphal: Security forces detained six militants, including two women, from various outlawed groups for their suspected roles in extortion rackets in Manipur, according to a Sunday police release.
All captures occurred on Saturday.
Troops picked up two active female members of the United National Liberation Front (Koireng) in the Moirangkampu Sajeb Makha Leikai neighbourhood of Imphal East district. They were named Takhellambam Sanathoi Chanu (19) and Kongbrailatpam Rameshori Devi (19).
Security personnel nabbed two active operatives of PREPAK (PRO) in the Canchipur zone of Imphal West district. Identified as Kshetrimayum Abinash Singh (21) and Rajkumar Daniel Singh (31), authorities recovered a 9mm pistol with 12 rounds plus two .38 cartridges from them.
One active fighter from UNLF(P) fell into custody at Lamphel Super Market in Imphal West district, while a PREPAK (PRO) insurgent was seized at his home in Kumbi, Bishnupur district.
