In what marks a significant milestone for India's artificial intelligence infrastructure ecosystem, Vyoma.AI - an L&T company - has secured the country's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure deployment through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute.

The deal involves setting up an NVIDIA B300 AI Factory for a US-based AI cloud innovator, Together AI, at Vyoma's Chennai data centre campus. The integrated AI Factory, with a capacity of 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs, will power an AI Native Cloud platform designed for large-scale inference, fine-tuning and training workloads.

L&T has classified the order as a "mega" order, which according to media reports corresponds to a value between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore, though the exact figure has not been disclosed.

Gigawatt-Scale AI Campus in Chennai

The AI Factory will be hosted at Vyoma's Chennai data centre campus, a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure site currently under development. Phase 1 of the campus is designed for 250 MW capacity, with power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA, providing a scalable foundation for future AI Factory expansion.

The platform combines multiple layers of advanced infrastructure:

* Hyperscale data centre infrastructure

* Accelerated computing with NVIDIA B300 GPUs

* High-performance networking and ultra-low-latency interconnects

* High-throughput parallel storage

* AI infrastructure operations for seamless deployment and scaling

This end-to-end AI infrastructure stack enables customers to deploy and scale AI workloads without managing multiple vendors or integration challenges.

The deal underscores L&T's ambition to position India as a global hub for next-generation AI infrastructure.

LTN Compute, a subsidiary of Vyoma.AI, is building AI-ready digital infrastructure across India through multiple offerings:

These services are designed to support governments, enterprises, cloud providers and AI innovators who need reliable, high-performance computing infrastructure for AI workloads.

Why this matters for India's AI ecosystem

The deployment of 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs in a single cluster is among the largest such installations in India. It signals growing confidence in the country's ability to host large-scale AI training and inference workloads that were previously concentrated in the US, Europe and parts of Asia.

For Indian AI startups, research institutions and enterprises, the presence of such infrastructure could mean lower latency for AI applications serving Indian users, reduced costs compared to running workloads on foreign cloud platforms, greater data sovereignty for sensitive AI applications and attracting global AI companies to set up operations in India.

The Chennai campus, with its gigawatt-scale design, also positions India to compete for more such "AI Factory" deployments as global demand for AI computing power continues to surge.

This order fits into L&T's broader strategy to become a major player in the AI infrastructure space. The company has been investing heavily in data centre capacity, sovereign cloud capabilities and AI-specific infrastructure as part of what it calls its "Gigawatt AI Infrastructure Mission".

Vyoma.AI, as L&T's AI-focused arm, has been positioning itself as a one-stop solution for organisations looking to deploy AI at scale without building their own data centres from scratch. The Together AI deal is the most visible validation of that strategy so far.

While the exact timeline for the Chennai AI Factory's operational readiness has not been disclosed, the project is expected to be rolled out in phases, aligned with the campus's power infrastructure build-out.
