New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Monday amid continued opposition protests, preventing the House from taking up a Bill to amend the anti-paper leak law.

Following the adjournment, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the Congress and its allies of deliberately disrupting proceedings to block a debate on the proposed legislation.

Rijiju said the opposition's protests stalled legislative business and denied the House an opportunity to discuss amendments to the anti-paper leak law. The Bill will now have to be taken up on Tuesday.

The disruption came during the ongoing Monsoon Session.
