Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that people have trust in the Congress government, and it is their responsibility to fulfil the promises made

Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar met with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a brief “power breakfast” this morning.
After the breakfast, the two leaders held a joint press meet to discuss the ongoing power tussle in Karnataka.
CM said, “There have been no differences, past or future, between me and D.K. Shivakumar. Our focus is on the 2028 elections.”
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that people have trust in the Congress government, and it is their responsibility to fulfil the promises made. He added that they had discussed the winter strategy, have always abided by the directives of the High Command, and that he and the Chief Minister will work together.
A photograph of the two leaders enjoying a traditional Karnataka breakfast of upma, idli and kesari bath quickly circulated, sending a subtle signal that relations between the two remain cordial.
