A major fire at a vehicle garage in Kanpur was swiftly contained after 7–8 fire tenders rushed to the spot. No injuries were reported, and officials are probing the cause.
A major fire broke out at a vehicle garage near Eidgah Chowk in Kanpur in the early hours of Saturday, triggering a swift emergency response.
According to fire officials, multiple fire tenders were dispatched immediately after the control room received alerts about the blaze in the Bajaria police station area. Watch the video below:
Chief Fire Officer Deepak Sharma said that around 7–8 fire engines from nearby stations were mobilised to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to adjoining areas.
“The information was received from the control room, and our teams rushed to the spot. The fire has now been completely extinguished. No injuries or casualties have been reported,” Sharma told ANI.
Authorities confirmed that the situation is under control, while the cause of the fire remains unknown. Further investigation is underway.
