After a video of the decorated cabin went viral, railway authorities took swift action, suspending the responsible staff member for a security breach.

Jalna (Maharashtra): A couple travelling in the first-class AC coupe of the Nandigram Express train saw their private romantic gesture escalate into a major railway controversy after an online decorator they had hired managed to board the carriage at Jalna station on 6 July without a ticket or authorisation.
Railway authorities are treating the decorator's access to the secure compartment as a "serious lapse" in security, resulting in the immediate suspension of the responsible staff member and the initiation of a comprehensive departmental investigation.
"A couple travelling in Train No. 11002 Nandigram Express on 6/7/26 had privately engaged a decorator online to decorate their 1st AC coupe. The decorator's entry into the coach at Jalna station was unauthorised and is viewed as a serious lapse. The concerned staff member has been placed under suspension, and a detailed departmental inquiry has been ordered. Appropriate action will be taken based on the inquiry findings," a statement from the Railways said.
Railway officials have taken a severe view of the incident, booking the decorator under relevant sections of the Railway Act for unauthorised entry, travelling without a valid ticket, and criminal trespass.
A video clip showcasing the coupe filled with balloons, rose petals, and elaborate floral arrangements for the surprise quickly went viral across social media platforms, prompting the swift disciplinary measures against the railway official.
