A 79-year-old Indian Army veteran from Indore in Madhya Pradesh has become an unexpected social media sensation after a video capturing her running a small food stall went viral on Instagram. Shared by content creator Kashish Soni, the clip shows the spirited elderly woman independently setting up and managing her evening food outlet on Khajrana Road.
“I used to serve in the Army as an administrative officer. I started this stall after retirement,” she says in the video, her calm composure and dignified presence catching the attention of viewers across the country.
When asked why she never married, her response was as unflinching as it was inspiring: “I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my hobby,” she says with a smile, referring to her deep love for cooking and running her own eatery.
Despite her age, the veteran radiates strength and satisfaction. “She so strong. Serving tasty tasty foods in streets of Indore!!
