The woman was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time

Hyderabad: In an unusual turn of events in Shankarpalle, a woman drove her car directly onto the railway tracks, triggering panic among railway staff and commuters. Despite repeated attempts by railway staff to stop her, the woman continued to drive until her vehicle eventually crashed into a tree near the tracks and came to a halt.
Following the incident, train services on the route were temporarily suspended as a precaution. Eyewitnesses reported that the car’s windshields were shattered during the dangerous ride along the tracks.
The woman was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time. Her identity has not yet been disclosed by the authorities. The car was first spotted by a railway gate operator at a location called Kodangal, who noticed a white vehicle approaching the tracks. He attempted to stop the car, but the driver refused to comply.
The operator followed the vehicle for a short distance and alerted the authorities. Eventually, while the woman was trying to manoeuver the car off the tracks, it collided with nearby trees and stopped. She was then detained and handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
The railway authorities have launched a detailed investigation. The video of the woman driving on the tracks has also surfaced and is being closely examined by officials.
