Massive midnight blaze damaged three furniture units in Gudimalkapur; cause remains under investigation.

A massive fire broke out at a furniture manufacturing unit near Vintage Function Hall in Gudimalkapur late on Monday night, sparking panic among residents in the surrounding area.
The blaze rapidly spread to two neighbouring furniture workshops, fueled by large quantities of combustible materials stored inside the premises. Thick smoke and flames were seen rising from the units as the fire intensified.
Following an alert, personnel from the Gudimalkapur police station and the fire department rushed to the spot and launched an extensive firefighting operation using four fire engines.
Firefighters battled the flames for several hours before bringing the situation under control in the early hours of Tuesday, preventing the fire from reaching nearby buildings and causing further damage.
Police and emergency response teams cordoned off the area and assisted in firefighting and rescue efforts. No casualties were reported immediately.
Kulsumpura ACP Tirupathi inspected the site and monitored the relief operations. Authorities have initiated an inquiry to determine the cause of the fire, which remains unknown at this stage.
