Lucknow: A Saudia Airlines flight carrying Hajj pilgrims from Jeddah encountered a technical issue while landing at Lucknow airport on Sunday morning.

Smoke and sparks were reportedly seen coming from one of the aircraft’s wheels during touchdown. The flight, which had departed from Jeddah at 10:45 pm on Saturday, landed in Lucknow around 6:30 am.

There were approximately 250 passengers on board at the time of the incident.

Airport authorities responded swiftly, and all passengers are reported to be safe. Further inspections of the aircraft are underway to determine the cause of the glitch.
