Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Gaurav Gogoi escaped unhurt on Thursday after his vehicle met with an accident, officials said.
Gogoi explained that while travelling in the town, his driver suddenly fell ill and lost control of the vehicle, which swerved and came to a stop by the roadside. "The driver received minor injuries and was taken to a hospital where his condition was stable and out of danger," the Congress leader added.
Gogoi confirmed he was unharmed and reassured there was "no cause for concern." He expressed gratitude to those who showed concern, but stressed that he was safe and there was no need for worry
