Bengaluru: The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches on Wednesday at properties connected to Karnataka Public Works Department Minister Satish Jarkiholi and several associates as part of an ongoing investigation, officials confirmed.
Authorities stated that approximately 18 locations were targeted in the operation, including the Bengaluru residence of the 64-year-old minister situated in Dollars Colony.
The premises of his daughter Priyanka Jarkiholi, who represents the Chikkodi constituency in the Lok Sabha, were also covered under the search operations, according to officials.
Investigative personnel added that the action constitutes a fresh enquiry and is separate from an earlier case involving Jarkiholi's brother-in-law, excise department official Y D Manjunath.
