Delhi Police detain AISA chief Neha Bora and CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke ahead of the planned 'Lehra Do Tiranga' protest in Connaught Place.

New Delhi: Following the earlier detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke, Delhi Police has detained AISA chief Neha Bora on Friday while she was en route to Connaught Place to join the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ demonstration.
While police picked up Dipke from his residence in Jhandewalan, Bora was intercepted and taken into custody at Mandi House in Central Delhi. High-voltage drama unfolded at both locations as jostling crowds, media camera crews and large contingents of security personnel swarmed the areas during the detentions.

Earlier in the day, a team of more than 20 Delhi Police personnel arrived at Dipke's Jhandewalan home to serve him an official notice. The directive instructed the CJP leader to refrain from any activity that could infringe upon or prejudice the rights of citizens, local traders, commuters and hospital patients.
The dual detentions come amidst heavily intensified security measures deployed across the national capital ahead of the planned Friday evening protest in Connaught Place.
