The examination schedule began with the Mathematics paper and concluded with the Social Science paper. All exams were held in a single shift from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm across examination centres in the country.
The second board examination was introduced by CBSE in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The initiative allows students to improve their performance in up to three subjects by taking an additional board examination within the same academic year.
