Last seen at the Panthachowk base on Thursday night, the 60th Battalion member remains untraceable despite a large-scale search

Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan has gone missing from his battalion headquarters in Srinagar, prompting a large-scale search operation by authorities. The incident occurred during the late hours of Thursday, July 31.
According to reports, the missing jawan has been identified as Sugam Choudhary, a member of the 60th Battalion. He was last seen at the BSF's Panthachowk headquarters before his disappearance.
Following the alarm, a massive search operation was immediately launched in the nearby areas surrounding the headquarters. However, as of Friday, August 1, 2025, Sugam Choudhary remains untraceable.
A formal missing report has been lodged, and the local police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Efforts are currently underway to ascertain the circumstances of his disappearance and to locate him as quickly as possible.
