New Delhi: Border Security Force (BSF) troops successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the International Border (IB) in the Pathankot sector early Wednesday morning.

According to a statement from the BSF, suspicious movement was detected at BOP Tashpatan. An intruder was observed attempting to cross the IB, prompting immediate action by the alert BSF personnel. 

Despite being challenged by the troops, the intruder ignored the warning and continued moving forward. Sensing a potential threat, BSF troops acted swiftly and neutralized the individual. The identity and motives of the intruder are currently under investigation.

The BSF has assured that strong protests will be lodged with the Pakistan Rangers regarding the incident.
