In a major crackdown on drug production, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in collaboration with the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, has dismantled a clandestine methamphetamine manufacturing lab located in the Kasana Industrial Area of Greater Noida.
During the operation, authorities uncovered approximately 95 kilograms of methamphetamine in both solid and liquid forms. Preliminary investigations revealed that a Delhi-based businessman was present at the facility during the raid, alongside a warden from Tihar Jail. It is believed that this duo played a crucial role in establishing the illegal operation, sourcing chemicals necessary for methamphetamine production, and importing the required machinery.
Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the lab, and the NCB has indicated that further investigations are underway to explore the full extent of the drug network. This operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat narcotics-related activities in the region, with authorities committed to dismantling such illicit enterprises.
