Shocking revelations continue to surface in the case of self-styled godman Baba Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Partha Sarathy, who has been arrested for allegedly molesting and sexually exploiting at least 17 women students.

On Tuesday, Delhi Police detained two of Baba’s women associates, who are now being interrogated to establish their role in the exploitation racket.

Sources said that the women are being confronted face-to-face with Chaitanyananda, who has so far shown no remorse and has been giving vague, evasive replies during questioning. Officials added that he only responds when confronted with direct evidence.

Chaitanyananda, the director of the reputed Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management in Delhi’s posh Vasant Kunj area, allegedly targeted female students enrolled under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) scholarship category.

According to one complainant, as many as three wardens regularly helped Baba lure and bring the girls to his room. Police are probing whether the two women detained on Tuesday are among those wardens.

Meanwhile, one victim revealed that Chaitanyananda maintained a heavily surveilled fortress with over 1,000 CCTV cameras, including in girls’ bathrooms, and that only “special girls” were taken to his so-called torture room.

Police also recovered multiple phones and an iPad containing chats with young women, photographs with air hostesses, and screenshots of girls’ mobile DPs, all pointing to a disturbing pattern of manipulation and voyeurism.

Chaitanyananda was arrested on Sunday from a luxury hotel in Agra’s Tajganj area, and has been remanded to five days of police custody by the Patiala House Court. Investigators said that more chilling details are expected to emerge as questioning of his detained associates continues.
