Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu narrowly escaped a train accident. The incident occurred while he was traveling through the Madura Nagar Railway Bridge as part of his visit to the flood-affected areas. The train passed without touching the Chief Minister and the security personnel. Footage of the incident was shared by PTI on X.
Naidu was walking along the track to review the flood damage when suddenly a train came along the same track. The bridge, which is designed exclusively for rail traffic, has no space for pedestrians. Suddenly the security personnel took him aside to safety. A big accident was avoided.
Due to heavy rains, various areas of Andhra Pradesh were inundated and people's lives were made difficult. Chandrababu Naidu has been touring the disaster area for the past five days. He has also been coordinating operations with rescuers in NDRF boats, bypassing safety protocols and wading through the dam. The incident happened in the meantime.
