New Delhi: In view of the prevailing unrest in Nepal, Air India Express has announced special support measures for passengers flying to and from the country.

The airline said travellers with bookings up to September 17, 2025 can reschedule their journeys to any future date without paying change fees or fare differences. Passengers opting to cancel their bookings for this period will be entitled to a full refund through their original payment method or travel agent.

“This support can be accessed easily through the airline’s AI-powered chat assistant, Tia, by simply typing #NepalTravel. Tia is available on the Air India Express website, WhatsApp and the mobile app,” an airline spokesperson said.

Air India Express clarified that operations to and from Nepal remain unaffected beyond September 17. “We remain committed to ensuring the safety and convenience of our guests and will continue to monitor the situation closely,” the spokesperson added.
