Noida: A woman was arrested in Greater Noida West after a purported video showing her allegedly abusing, threatening and attempting to assault private security guards at a housing society went viral on social media, police said Thursday.

The incident occurred on the night of August 26 at Centurion Park Terrace Homes Society in the Bisrakh police station area following a dispute over the entry of a food delivery agent, police said.

According to Bisrakh police, the woman had ordered food online, but the delivery agent was stopped by a security guard at the society's entrance.

The woman allegedly objected to the guard stopping the delivery agent and began arguing with the security personnel, police said.

A complaint was later filed against her under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). She was arrested on Thursday and further legal proceedings are underway, police said.

The purported 3-minute-38-second video shows the woman allegedly abusing the security guards, making derogatory remarks and issuing threats. She is also seen allegedly attempting to hit a guard with her hands and legs.

The woman is purportedly heard warning the guards to stay away from her and threatening to kill one of them.

She is also heard making derogatory remarks about the guards, referring to them as "poor people" and saying, "jutey saaf karwaongi" (I will make you clean my shoes), "teri koi aukat nahi hai mere saamne" (you are of no standing before me) and "maar dungi tujhe" (I will kill you).

Police said the confrontation took place at the society gate after the disagreement over the food delivery agent's entry.
