Tony McCollister, a former A&E reality show participant, has been arrested in Ohio on multiple sex crime charges, including allegations involving a minor and animals. The 43-year-old was taken into custody on December 23 in Warren County.

According to court documents, McCollister has been charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor and sexual conduct with an animal. Investigators allege that on November 23, he knowingly uploaded child sexual abuse imagery to his Google account. On the same day, he is accused of engaging in sexual acts with two of his pet dogs.

Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley told TMZ that the animals were seized during the investigation and are currently safe. “They are being well cared for,” the sheriff said.

As per a report by WLWT5, McCollister was arraigned on December 25. He later posted a $250,000 bond but was ordered by the court to have no contact with children or animals until his next hearing, scheduled for December 30 at 11 am. If convicted, McCollister could face up to eight years in prison and fines reaching $15,000.

Court records list McCollister’s address as a residence on Lavender Way, just outside South Lebanon. However, the property is reportedly owned by a woman named Erica Grove. Prosecutors have charged Grove separately with sexual misconduct involving an animal, though court filings do not clarify the nature of her relationship with McCollister.

According to an A&E press release at the time, the series focused on couples balancing unconventional relationships while maintaining everyday family and professional lives. In an interview with Cincinnati’s WXIX, the McCollisters had claimed they had been part of the swinging lifestyle for over a decade.

However, the show sparked immediate backlash. After intense public criticism over its content, A&E pulled ‘Neighbors With Benefits’ off the air after just two episodes.
