
Rajasthan: A 25-year-old man was allegedly strangled to death in Rajasthan’s Dausa district after he refused to let three men apply colour on him ahead of Holi. The incident took place on Wednesday evening in Ralwas village.
How did the attack occur?
The victim, Hansraj, was preparing for competitive exams at a local library when three men—Ashok, Bablu, and Kaluram—arrived and attempted to smear him with colours. When he resisted, they attacked him, kicking him and beating him with belts. The assault escalated further, resulting in one of the men strangling him to death.
What was the aftermath?
Following the killing, Hansraj’s family and villagers staged a protest with his body, blocking a national highway in the area. The protest continued
