Mysuru: In a shocking incident, 15 women were found unconscious at a rave party in Mysuru on Saturday night. Following this, a total of 64 individuals were taken into custody by the Mysuru police. The arrest follows a raid at the party venue at a private farm near Meenakshipura in Mysore Taluk, Karnataka.
The police operation happened in the wee hours of Sunday following a tip-off. Many attendees attempted to escape as the cops arrived at the party. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was called to the scene to investigate the presence of narcotic substances.
Mysuru SP reported that while no drugs were discovered at the party, alcohol and cigarettes were present. It is reported that blood samples from all those detained have been collected for testing. The 15 unconscious women are undergoing blood tests as part of the investigation.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was informed about the raid by the Superintendent of Police. In response, he instructed law enforcement to take strict legal measures against those involved. Along with the arrests, police also seized several vehicles from the rave party venue. Although the initial raid did not reveal any illegal drugs, the police are waiting for blood test results to determine if any narcotics were consumed by the attendees.
