Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh is about to experience an amazing visual transformation, not with brand-new structures or colourful murals, but with art made from leftover scraps.

A team of artists from Jharkhand has breathed new life into over 50 pieces of scrap sourced from households and factories, turning them into striking metal sculptures that are now ready to adorn the city.

Among the standout creations are a majestic statue of Mother Narmada, a delicate sculpture of a bird feeding its young, a giant tea kettle, and a depiction of a Brahmin performing the Narmada Ghat puja. Each installation reflects a fusion of devotion, heritage, and imaginative artistry.

The unique initiative has already captured the curiosity of locals, who are flocking to witness the creativity and sheer scale of the artworks.

The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has distributed smaller sculptures to various government offices, while larger masterpieces will soon find their place across prominent public spaces. The project aims to convert busy streets into vibrant open-air galleries, giving residents and visitors a fresh lens to experience the city.
