The feud between Honey Singh and Badshah is no secret. In a recent interview, Honey Singh opened up about the tension between him and the ‘Soulmate’ singer, accusing Badshah of repeatedly targeting him with his songs and even mocking his illness.
In the interview, Honey Singh said, "People often ask me about my controversy with Badshah. A fight happens between two people when both are involved, but for 10 years, one man kept abusing me, making songs about me, mocking my illness, and I never responded."
He added that he only started speaking up recently, and that too because of his fans. “My fans sent me DMs saying, ‘Please speak up, this is about our dignity now. A man is continuously speaking ill about you'," he said.
"As a result, he apologised and admitted his mistake. But he is one of those who spits and then licks it back; just watch, he’ll flip again. I don’t consider people like that to be anything,” Honey Singh revealed.
This isn’t the first time Honey has taken a jab at Badshah. Recently, when he appeared on an episode of 'India’s Best Dancer vs Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan', Honey took a subtle dig at his haters, without naming Badshah.
“First of all, I'm not even in the rap scene. I write a little, I sing a little. Whatever I do, there are very few people who can make me better and many who can make me worse. There is no one like me, so I have no competition. Half of them are my own descendants. Look, don't hate my haters, they are my own children...” Honey said with a smirk.
For those who might not know, Honey Singh and Badshah were once part of the same rap group, 'Mafia Mundeer'. However, they went their separate ways after a public fallout. Since then, their relationship has been anything but friendly, with both taking shots at each other over the years.
