Kochi: The 83rd birthday celebrations of veteran singer KJ Yesudas will be held at Azeezia Convention Centre, Padivattom in Kochi on Tuesday. The event, which will be organized by Yesudas Academy, is expected to be attended by the singer’s classmates, fellow artists and friends from various fields.
Actor Mammootty will release the latest musical album ‘Thanichonnu Kaanaan’ of Yesudas at the function. Minister P Rajeev, Hibi Eden MP, Collector Renu Raj, ADGP Ajith Kumar among others will take part in the birthday celebrations.
Minister Rajeev will inaugurate a gallery exhibition of 83 pictures of Yesudas, captured by cinematographer Leen Thobias, at the function.
“The event is held exclusively for the invitees,” said Anil Kumar, manager and convener of the celebration committee.
