Where the story picks up

Last season ended with a shocking loss: Lester (Teddy Coluca), The Arconia’s trusted doorman, was discovered lifeless in the building’s fountain. While neighbours were quick to dismiss it as a tragic mishap, Mabel, Charles and Oliver suspect there’s far more to the story.

Hulu’s official description hints at a wider net this time. The trio’s hunt for the truth leads beyond their iconic apartment building into “shadowy corners of New York and beyond,” pulling them into a high-stakes world of mob ties, billionaires and secretive tenants — where old criminal codes collide with ruthless modern forces reshaping the city’s underworld.

Cast: familiar favourites and fresh additions

Series regulars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short return alongside Michael Cyril Creighton, Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind and Nathan Lane.

This season also welcomes new talent, including Bobby Cannavale as laundromat boss Nicky Caccimelio, plus Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Téa Leoni, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest and Jermaine Fowler.

Showrunner John Hoffman has teased that the storyline draws from “ripped from the headlines” material, anchoring the series’ playful, eccentric tone in modern-day issues while preserving its trademark mix of sharp comedy and suspenseful turns.
